Emails in your language

• Our emails come in the language you use BetterBahn in, including after you switch it in the menu.
• You can switch your Pro subscription between monthly and yearly in your account, starting when the paid period ends.
• Late trains are marked in your Trips, and from the trip you can open Passenger rights for that exact train.

Passenger rights for your train

• For any train from the last 30 days, Passenger rights shows whether you can claim part of the fare back and how to do it.
• Popular routes have their own pages, where you can start a search with the route already filled in.
• The roadmap shows what we're working on, lets you vote for ideas and says why we're not planning some of them.
• Account › Your data shows when we've looked at your account, read-only, to check a report from you.

Your booked trips now show up in Trips

You can also share a trip by link and get the cheapest days emailed every Monday if you want.

• Platform and delay on the travel day now show at the top of Trips when you keep a trip after booking.
• Whoever picks you up can see when your train arrives through “Share trip”, and the link expires 2 hours after arrival.
• We can email you the cheapest days of the week for your saved routes every Monday.
• You can turn each of six kinds of email on or off in your account, and apart from trip changes we send at most one a day.

A free Pro trial and the Trip Pass

• You can try Pro free for 14 days, and we email you 3 days before the first charge.
• For a single journey, the Trip Pass watches one route until the travel day for a one-off €3.99 and then ends by itself.
• Your account shows your plan, and you can cancel your subscription right there without giving a reason.
• When DB can't be reached, we now say so instead of showing no trains.

Flexible dates and round trips

• The cheapest day around your date opens straight away when you pick ±1 or ±3 days, or a window of up to 3 weeks with Pro.
• You can now plan both directions in one search, picking the outbound train and then the return, and book each one separately.
• The Sparpreis-Finder is now part of the search.

We tell you when the price drops

It also brings sign-in with a code and one place for everything you've saved.

• You now sign in without a password, using a 6-digit code sent by email.
• Your saved routes, price alerts and past searches now sit together in Trips.
• You set a price alert right from a connection, and we then show you each day's price and email you when it drops.
• The contact form asks for a topic and suggests matching ideas from the roadmap.
• You choose which emails you get in your account, and you can unsubscribe from price alerts and news in one step.

We rebuilt search

The home page, results and connection details look new too, and load faster.

• From, To, departure and your options now sit in one row, and on phones in their own card at the bottom of the screen.
• Above the results you see prices for three days either side of your date, and each day opens its own search.
• If a train needs two tickets, you book them one after the other, and before each one we check that the price still holds.
• Shared connections open with today's prices, and if the day has passed, we show the same train a week later.
• Your recent searches appear, with their date and options, as soon as you open the From field.
• There's no daily search limit any more.
• Light or dark follows your device setting.

Faster to the cheapest day

We now search several days at once and show more about each connection.

• You can now find the cheapest day to travel straight away, because we search several days at once for you.
• Connections now show intermediate stops and disruptions, and you can filter for bike spaces.
• On the public roadmap you vote on what comes next and submit your own ideas.
• Your recent searches are on the home page, so you can pick up where you left off.

More control over your account

You now reset your password, export your data and delete your account yourself.

• You can now reset a forgotten password yourself by email.
• Delete your account yourself and export your data, no questions asked (GDPR).
